An Arm and A Leg

An Arm and A Leg

An Arm and A Leg, playfully dives into the things we think we "know," and asks the question, what if we really know nothing at all?

How does language both articulate and quietly reduce our lived experience? An Arm and a Leg contests with the competing forms of body and voice, harmony and chaos and uses  "binomial pairs" to question, what do we really know for certain? A mediation that exists somewhere between cotton-candy clouds and a torrential downpour. Incorporating live, original music by LED's in-house band and jaw-dropping physicality by Lauren Edson and the LED dancers, this work lies somewhere between cotton-candy clouds and a torrential downpour.

"THIS WORK ILLUMINATED THE MASTERY OF EDSON IN CHOREOGRAPHY THEATRICAL DANCE-AS WELL AS THE DANCERS' SKILL IN PERFORMING IT."
