A milestone for the arts in Idaho
We are so thrilled to have finally found a place to call our home. For any nonprofit arts organization, securing a permanent home is a monumental achievement. For us, it signifies a big leap toward establishing a lasting presence within the artistic community and making a profound impact on the Idaho arts landscape and the artists who create here. We’ve established a 20-year lease to own agreement on a stunning 7,000-square-foot historic building, located in the heart of the Live Work Create District of Garden City.
The Dixon is a vibrant creative hub—a home for imagination, connection, and bold artistic expression. Featuring three distinct and thoughtfully designed spaces, it welcomes artists and audiences alike to gather, create, and be inspired.

The Theater
At the center of the Dixon is The Theater — a state-of-the-art, immersive performance space built to bring bold ideas to life. It’s where LED premieres its original creations and invites audiences into the artistic process.
With modular, telescopic seating for up to 150 guests, the theater easily adapts to a variety of configurations—from traditional proscenium setups to in-the-round staging or standing-room-only events. This flexibility supports a wide range of creative formats and experiences.

The Movement Loft
Upstairs at The Dixon, you’ll find the Movement Loft — a bright, open, and energizing space designed to foster creativity and connection. With a 35 x 40-foot open floor plan, the Loft comfortably accommodates up to 25 people, making it an ideal setting for movement classes, masterclasses, artist residencies, workshops, art exhibits, and creative events of all kinds.x
Expansive windows flood the space with natural light, creating a warm and inspiring atmosphere where ideas take shape and creativity flows freely. Home to LED’s Artist Haven residency, the Movement Loft is more than a studio—it’s an incubator for bold ideas, offering artists the space and support they need to explore, create, and grow.

The Lounge
The Lounge at the Dixon is a creative space designed for connection, reflection, and a touch of indulgence.
Before a performance, relax with a curated selection of drinks from local wineries and breweries as you explore rotating art exhibits by featured visual artists. Settle in—you might get so comfortable, you forget there’s a show waiting.
After the event, return to share your experience, spark conversation, and meet the artists behind the work you’ve just witnessed.
More than just a lounge, this is the heart of the Dixon—a gathering place where art, community, and dialogue come alive.
Only creativity and community — never spam.
