Kylee Kylian

Kylee Killian (she/her) is a dancer, choreographer, and educator based in Portland, Oregon. She is currently dancing in her second season with Open Space, under the direction of Franco Nieto. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kylee earned her BFA in Modern Dance from Point Park University, where she also danced with the improvisational company The Pillow Projects. Following graduation, she relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah, to dance with SALT 2. During her final season with the company, she was awarded a choreographic residency to create and premiere her original work, The Waiting Room, in their spring concert. Throughout her training and professional career, Kylee has had the privilege of performing in works by Noelle Kayser, Ching Ching Wong, Nicole von Arx, Alice Klock, Martha Graham, Penny Saunders, Norbert De La Cruz III, Franco Nieto, Garrett Smith, Courtney Mazeika, Amy Gunter Lolofie, and many others. Kylee is absolutely thrilled to be dancing with LED and can’t wait to share this work with you!
