Jonah Tran

Jonah Tran is a queer, Vietnamese American artist originally from Mustang, Oklahoma. He earned his BFA in Dance from the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance and is a freelance artist based in Brooklyn, New York. He has performed works by acclaimed choreographers including Kyle Abraham, Peter Chu, Lauren Edson, Roderick George, Jiří Kylián, and Micaela Taylor. His recent work includes a residency at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity with BEMOVING, performing in Bret Easterling’s On Second Thought, and appearing in Dominic Fike’s “Go Heavy” music video directed by JA Collective. Jonah has also participated in programs including BEMOVING and Springboard Danse’s SpringboardX.
