Annika Barlow

Annika, originally from Oakland, California, began their classical training with Oakland Ballet School at the age of five, and has since studied at Contra Costa Ballet, San Francisco Ballet School, and graduated high school while training at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. There, she danced in works by Bruno Roque, George Balanchine, Alan Hineline, and Nicole Haskins. They spent two seasons as a trainee with Ballet Idaho, performing in works by Joseph Hernandez, Penny Saunders, Laura O’Malley, and Meredith Webster. During her time in Boise, Annika has had the opportunity to perform in Daniel Ojeda’s By & Bye: An Unsustainable Art Show and Time Killer, alongside being an artist with Project Flux, and has danced in work by Cydney Covert as part of Perspectives. As a 2025 Carmel Dance Fellow, they performed in work by Javon “Ja’moon” Jones, and received mentorship from Alex Ketley and Lillian Barbeito. Annika is excited to begin their professional dance journey with LED as an apprentice this season.
